Check Out the Artisanal Guadalajaran Dinner with Tequila Pairings at Mi Mero Mole
This upcoming Monday, February 27 at 7:00 PM, join Mi Mero Mole and Barman Tommy Klus (La Moule, formerly of Kask and The Multnomah Whisk{e}y Library) as they serve up a special Guadalajaran four-course dinner with artisanal tequila pairings.
San Matias Tequila is celebrating its 130th birthday this month with the release of a limited bottling, San Matias Tahona. This artisanal tequila is made in the traditional “tahona” method, with agave crushed by a massive stone wheel, carrying earthy, vegetal flavors. On Monday, Master Distiller Mario Echanove will join Mi Mero Mole for a meal of dungeness crab salad, pork belly tortas, pork hominy soup, and Concha Ice Cream sandwiches. In addition, Klus and guest bartender Haley Holman, formerly of Seattle’s Canon, will be serving the limited release tequila, along with other San Matias product cocktails.
Vegetarian requests may be accommodated ahead of time, but will likely be unavailable if requested on the day. Reservations only. Tickets are either $35 or $47.50, the latter of which includes tequila and cocktails. Email newsletter@mmmtacospdx.com for tickets.
