It’s the same owners, staff, and kitchen as Observatory but with a slightly more laid back vibe; here it’s signature cocktails meet pool hall and pinball.

The drinks on Over and Out’s signature cocktail list are divergent (and cheap). We love the idea of looking up from a blood orange Negroni to the glow of a television and the chime of pinball machine.

Try the spicy Tom Kah ($7.5) made from chili infused vodka, lemongrass, cilantro, simple syrup, and coconut cream, plus lots of lime. For another cocktail with a colorful ingredient list, try the Cumin Centipede ($8) made from cumin tequila, muddled with bell pepper, cucumber and cilantro.

Happy hour goes from 3 to 6 PM and then starts again at 10 PM until close, Sunday through Thursday. If you’re crawling on a Tuesday and Wednesday night, capitalize on free pool.

Tip: Avoid the people waiting at Observatory’s front door and save the hostess the breath. Head around the other side of the building to the back door.
