Over the summer, CraftBeer.com asked readers to nominate and vote for the best beer bars in the country, and the results are in. Though Brewvana was somehow shut out of the top three overall, Southeast’s Apex Bar won the top spot in the Pacific division.

It’s not a stretch to see why. With 50 taps and over 150 bottles, the place is a beer drinker’s paradise. Food? Who needs it, when you’ve got this many suds to choose from. With a picnic-table-strewn patio, ample bike parking and plenty of pinball, we agree, Apex is right up there.

Following Apex in the Pacific division is Seattle’s Urban Family Brewing and Oakland, CA’s Beer Revolution. The nationwide winners that bested our fair city are Mekong Restaurant (Richmond, VA), Hopcat (Grand Rapids, MI) and The Thirsty Monk (Asheville, NC). Ever visted?
