Last Wednesday Southeast Slow Ride

Last Wednesday Southeast Slow Ride

Between the Naked Bike Ride and your neighbor Jim’s Neighborhood Bike Grocery Run, bikes have ceased to call to mind the relaxing joyrides of youth and have become instead just another aspect of our hectic, busy lives.

C Bar and New Belgium would like to teach Portland how to once again casually cruise the streets of our city, in the Last Wednesday Southeast Slow Ride. Not only will you enjoy beer and bikes but Jeremiah Smith — our favorite red-haired C Bar owner — has teased a possible movie event and a safety meeting in addition to the bar stops along the way.

Before you enjoy the last Thursday of the month, slow down and take a deep breath at Last Wednesday. The meeting location is different every month, so be sure to check New Belgium's Facebook page for details. Everyone gathers at  6 PM, and then the crowd makes stops at various venues for bites and sips. You'll also have a chance to win the new 2012 NBB beach cruiser, and C Bar drink tickets redeemable at the end of each ride.

Event Date: 07/25,08/29,09/26
Event Time: 6 PM
Location: Varies
