The Oregon Distillers Festival will take place at McMenamins Edgefield on July 12 from 3 to 7 PM.
Try over 100 handcrafted spirits from Oregon Distillers Guild members from around the state for $30 (includes 14 tasting tokens). McMenamins the home base for the event and a longtime player in the Portland distilling scene will showcase three new spirits – Aval Pota, Billy Whiskey and Philbert Hazelnut Liqueur – in addition to the other whiskeys, vodkas and gin they produce.
Summer cocktails will be available for purchase and fare prepared by Black Rabbit Restaurant Executive Chef Kenny Giambalvo. The event includes a silent auction benefitting the Oregon Distillers Guild.
Because buzzed driving is drunk driving, Edgefield is offering an overnight package for $260 that includes lodging for two, tickets to the Oregon Distillers Festival Grand Festival tasting, dinner in the Black Rabbit Restaurant and breakfast the following morning. Guests must be age 21 and over.
