NPR is Starting a Wine Club to Fund Public Radio

by The Drink Nation on Sep 27, 2017 in Wine

With funding for public radio possibly under fire, NPR is finding a way to fund its own shows that fits perfectly in their own tote bags — a wine club, according to Forbes.

NPR’s new membership, the NPR Wine Club, will send subscribers twelve varietals of NPR exclusive wines with names like "All Grapes Considered" (Malbec), "Weekend Edition" (Cabernet Sauvignon) and "Uncorked" (Merlot). The wines are currently curated by experts from licensed wineries, including Direct Wines and Wines That Rock, and they’ll be finding wines from all over the world to represent NPR’s brand.

Subscriptions to the NPR wine club start at $79.99 per quarter (plus shipping costs), so sign up today to find the perfect wine to pair with your favorite podcast.
