It is always great to see some of Oregon's best chefs, winemakers, brewers and distillers join forces with Share our Strength to combat childhood hunger. A date of May 7 has been announced for this year's Taste of the Nation Portland, which will be held at McMenamins Crystal Ballroom.

Tickets are available at three levels: general admission from 6:30–9 PM ($85); VIP for one hour early access and complimentary valet parking ($150); and LUXE ($200), which brings 5 PM entry, valet partking and admittance to the LUXE lounge. Expect food and drink samples from over 40 restaurants and 30 beverage makers, which you can enjoy with all the movers and shakers of the Portland food and drink scene. Everyone comes together to benefit the organizations cause of ending childhood hunger.
