On Black Friday, retail stores all over the region will be offering sales to kick off the Christmas shopping season, and several bars are getting into the swing of things with specials and events. Check out where to catch a break as you scour the stores for gifts and deals.
Bad Habit Room: Bottle release party of Upright Brewing Bad Brains tribute beer at 5 PM, with showing of Bad Brains documentary.
Bazi Bierbrasserie: Shop local and receive 10% off entire bill with receipt from a Hawthorne Boulevard merchant.
Enso Winery: Free tastings of new wines and free shipping on cases.
The Fixin’ To: Open with TBA Black Friday drink specials.
Gemini Lounge: $5 Pumpkin-tini all day; bring in a receipt from a locally owned store and get happy hour pricing all night.

Sidecar 11: Open early noon–4 PM with $4 mimosas, greyhounds, screwdrivers and Bloody Marys, then open through close with regular happy hours.
Slabtown: Many drink specials TBA plus large live music show at night.
The Original: Serving special brunch from 6:30 AM–2 PM, then open through 4 AM with regular happy hours.
Three Degrees: Opening early for brunch at 5:30 AM with validated valet parking for up to eight hours. Happy hour will be extended in the bar from 2–7 PM. Spend $10 or more and get a free mini-massage from on site masseuse.
Urban Farmer: Special brunch from 6:30 AM–3 PM.
