Brewery Ommegang Beer Dinner at Smith Commons, April 30

Brewery Ommegang is arguably responsible for introducing Belgian beer to the United States, and continues to produce an impressive portfolio of brews. On Monday, April 30, you have a chance to sample five of their finest at a tasting dinner at H Street's Smith Commons. Ommegang beer curator Steven Cordello will host, along with Ommegang culinary ambassador Teddy Folkman (chef at nearby Granville Moore's).

The menu is drool-worthy, featuring starters like tomato bisque with crab and grilled cheese croutons (!), paired with Ommegang BPA and mains like barbecue smoked poussin with lentils and fried artichoke, which is accompanied by Ommegang Three Philosophers. Your $85 ticket brings a seat at the table as well as a chance to win a six-pack of vintage Ommegang brews to take home with you.
