(633 SE Powell Blvd.; 503-206-7350)
Stammtisch
The excellent German bar and restaurant Stammtisch is open this year for the holiday starting at 6 PM, so the staff can celebrate Christmas Day. Pépé le Moko
For a classy, tasty night out on Christmas, Pépé le Moko is an excellent choice. The hip subterranean bar serves its classic and not-so-classic cocktails every night of the week from 4 to 10 PM, including the holiday. It’s a nice stop for an after-dinner drink or two. (407 SW Tenth Ave.; 503-546-8537)
