The Renowned Domaine Serene Winery Has Opened Palatial Clubhouse
Domaine Serene, the famous and award winning winery in the Willamette Valley, has opened a palatial clubhouse, with a public tasting room, a members-only lounge, and a dedicated food and wine pairing lounge. The estate is framed by a wide patio, providing guests with a picturesque view of the surrounding region, including vineyards.
The winery has earned considerable acclaim over the years, including its 2014 Evenstad Reserve Chardonnay winning number one white wine in the world in Wine Spectator’s 2016 Top 100. It continues to be a popular Willamette Valley winery in restaurants and private collections.
The clubhouse is open from 11 AM to 5 PM seven days a week. A variety of tasting experiences are available to the public and complimentary for members, including an estate tasting for $20 in the main room; a prestige tasting for $50 in a private room in the stylish cellar, which includes a cheese and charcuterie board; a prestige tasting and tour for $75; and a Burgundy and Oregon tasting for $125 ($50 for club members), which includes wines from the Château de la Crée estate.
Joining the clubhouse will be Chef Jason Kupper, most recently from his own restaurant Heritage Eats in Napa, CA, where he gained acclaim from Food & Wine and Zagat. Now he is set to work as Executive Chef at Domaine Serene, creating dishes to pair with the chardonnay and pinot noir that define the winery. In addition, winemaker Michael Fay has taken on the role of Director of Winemaking and Viticulture. Fay is leading the team into the next stage of winemaking, including the opening of a new Domaine Serene winery dedicated solely to chardonnay, white pinot noir and sparkling wines. This new winery is set to open in 2018.
