Join Andina for a Weeklong Fundraiser for Peruvian Flood Victims
Peruvian born Andina Co-owner Doris Rodgriguez released a statement in a press release, saying, “Given the recent situation in Peru, heavy floods have destroyed homes, land, and left children and families with almost nothing. It is imperative that Andina, as a Peruvian restaurant, join in the effort to help the people of Peru. We can not delay or wait, people need our help now!”
To this end, the restaurant is donating 5% of its sales, a generous amount when profit margins often hover around that number, to Direct Relief, a humanitarian group working to aid Peruvians in this time of crisis. The fundraiser began Monday, March 27, and continues through the weekend to Sunday, April 2. In addition to the sales donations, guests will have a chance to make an additional donation on their check.
