Celebrate Oregon Cider Week With Raven & Rose and Nat's Hard Cider Collaboration Release, June 25
Months ago, Mr. David Shenaut of Raven & Rose and The Rookery Bar acquired two Eagle Rare bourbon barrels, hand selected by him and his staff as the single barrels that best represented the flavor profile they desired. After bottling the liquor, the barrels went to Rev. Nat’s Hard Cider, where they were used to age the Revival Cider and Sacrilege Sour Cherry Cider. This Thursday, June 25, The Rookery Bar will be serving two cocktail specials, each for only $10. The first is an Old-Fashioned Stone Fence, made with the single barrel Eagle Rare Bourbon, muscovado syrup, 50/50 house orange bitters, angostura bitters, and topped with the Sacrilege Sour Cherry Cider that was aged in that barrel. The other is a boilermaker: A shot of the Eagle Rare served with a glass of the Revival Cider that was aged in its barrel.
Come explore how the flavor profiles of distinct single barrels affect both the bourbon and the cider aged within!
