Lucky Horseshoe Lounge is Clinton's New Favorite Neighborhood Bar
As Division to the north continues to expand and accommodate pricey high-rise condominiums, there’s a legitimate concern that the prices at the surrounding establishments will rise to meet the increased demand and affluence of the neighborhood. Luckily, Clinton, only a few blocks to the south, seems immune to this gentrification, and Lucky Horseshoe is an indication of this as a comfortable, affordable and gimmick-free watering-hole.
The menu does offer some cocktails, including $9 variations on a Manhattan and a Sazerac, and even a $10 Aviation. The cocktails are certainly palatable and reasonably priced, but that’s not what makes Lucky Horseshoe a destination. It’s the $4 price point for a pint of beer ($3 during happy hour), a generously poured glass of wine ($3 on Wine Wednesdays) or a well drink. It’s the basic bar food, including tater tot nachos (

Lucky Horseshoe is open Monday–Thursday, 4 PM–1 AM, Friday, 4 PM–2 AM, Saturday, 11 AM–2 AM and Sunday 11 AM–1 AM. Happy hour runs from 4–6 PM, daily.
