Beer Gardens Popping Up at Fergie's Pub and Philadelphia Museum of Art

Just on the heels of Independence Beer Garden’s big debut comes word that there are two more pop-up beer gardens coming our way. One takes up the empty space immediately east of Fergie’s Pub, and the other at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Fergie’s owner, Fergus Carey, took to social media to spread the good word about his outdoor expansion. It launches Wednesday, July 16 at 5 PM. Details are few and far between, but all you really need to know is, the popular Midtown Village watering hole will be serving food and drink, al fresco, from 5 PM - 10 PM Wednesdays and Thursdays; and 2 PM - 12 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.

As if that wasn’t enough for the outdoor drinking-obsessed, Philadelphia Museum of Art is also getting in on the beer garden craze with Starr Events & Catering’s new Wednesday night pop-up series that brings local brews and tasty bites that go well with them to the Great Stair Hall.

Each Wednesday, the beer garden will offer guests a variety of beers from one featured local brewery, alongside a spread of small plates created to compliment them. Each tasting takes place from 6 PM - 8:30 PM and costs $25 ($22.50 for members). For more information, or to make reservations, click here

Here’s the schedule of breweries:

Wednesday, July 16: Flying Fish

Wednesday, July 23: Stoudt’s

Wednesday, July 30: Yards
