Why should you care about a drink event in New Orleans? Because Tales of the Cocktail is the biggest spirit and liqueur (educational) party in the nation, and Drink Nation's Portland editor Karen Locke will be in attendance. We can’t wait to pass on the what she learns about new products, trends and techniques.
Tales of the Cocktail is the “world’s premier cocktail festival, bringing together the international spirits community for five days of what’s now, what’s new and what’s next in bartending.” There will be a 5-day schedule of seminars, dinners, competitions, tasting rooms and new product launches. And unofficial parties like one sponsored by Jägermeister and DJed by Pete Wintz of Fall Out Boy.
