Little Bird Celebrates Tequila Month in May
Bar Manager Tom Lindstedt of downtown's Little Bird, will mix high quality tequila into French-inspired cocktails for the new menu starting May 1. The five new tequila cocktails will compliment Little Bird’s cuisine and are priced at $12 each. The Tequila Month menu will be available until May 31.
Listed below are the five new cocktails, all of which do not use any lime. Lindstedt proves with this menu that with a little ingenuity we can get by without the citrus garnish.
Marguerite - Tapatio blanco, Lillet, citrus & salted lemon syrup, tall (A refreshing French margarita)
Trois Amigos - Chartreuse, M.P. Roux & genepy, Casamigos reposado, Imbue vermouth, short (An earthy aperitif)
Le Piñata - Siete Leguas blanco, pineapple, lemon & sauternes, rocks (Blindfolded, still a hit)
Paris, Texas - Fortaleza reposado, Byrrh, Bonal & house Picon, big ice (Character study of vermouth and agave)
Fume Jaune - Fidencio mezcal, Avèze gentian, Lillet & cacao, up (Root to leaf smokiness)
