Smallwares Introduces New Tuesday Night Wine Flights
If the thought of spending a couple of stacks on wine flights and some bites terrifies you, stop into Smallwares any Tuesday night starting January 14th for inexpensive tastings and small plates. Ask for the Tuesday Night Wine Flight at Smallwares from 5 - 10 PM or Barwares from 10 PM - 1 AM.
The wine director, Sarah Egeland, and Chef Johanna Ware will provide themed wine flights of three 3 oz. pours ($14) and three small plates for $11.
Themes of the flights and small plates will change weekly. To start off the weekly wine flights Egeland is presenting the Jura Flight with wines from the Jura region in France.
Smallwares is hip, yet inviting space to try flights and food pairings such as this combination available January 14:
The Jura Flight
Domaine de L'Octavin “Papageno” Vin Mousseux de Qualite – Made from 100% Poulsard, this wine from the Arbois winery uses organic grapes from their vineyards scattered around the outskirts of beautiful Arbois.

2011 Domian de L'Octavin “Comtesse A...” Savagnin Ouille – This “fresh” wine is made using only Savagnin grapes, and pairs well with fresh fish and creamy foods.
