"Whiskey Women" Book Signing and Tasting at Jack Rose

Best-selling author Fred Minnick has just released his newest book "Whiskey Women: The Untold Story of How Women Saved Bourbon, Scotch, and Irish Whiskey." To celebrate, Jack Rose Dining Saloon is hosting a book signing (and tasting) party.

Minnick will discuss how women played a huge part in the whiskey industry, originally inventing beer and distillation and even owning major whiskey brands, including Bushmills, Laphroaig and Maker's Mark.

And of course, the signing wouldn't be complete without a toast to the women in whiskey. Guests can enjoy a special "Whiskey Women" tasting flight of four DIAGEO whiskey brands prominently featured in the book, including Bulleit and Johnnie Walker. Cost is $30, which includes a signed copy of the book ($26.95 retail) and a tasting flight of four whiskeys.
