Distillery Row Passport: Your Ticket to Six Distilleries in Portland
In an industrial area located between Ladd’s Addition and the Willamette River, grains and malt are churning up a drinking revolution, and this time it doesn’t involve beer. Six spirits distilleries in the heart of this Lower Eastside Industrial District have come together to form Distillery Row.
Incorporated as a non-profit in 2010, Distillery Row’s mission to promote Southeast Portland and these independent distilleries not only draws attention to both local and craft flavored liqueurs, vodkas, gins, and whiskeys — it gives Portlanders the opportunity to visit all of the members’ facilities with the Distillery Row Passport.
For $20, the Distillery Row Passport includes complimentary tastings and tours of six Distillery Row locations: House Spirits Distillery. New Deal Distillery, Eastside Distilling, Stone Barn Brandyworks, Vinn Distillery and Rolling River Spirits.
For about $100 less than a real passport, you’ll get the same satisfaction of receiving a “stamp” after stopping at each destination, plus there’s room for tasting notes, maps, and discounts from participating restaurants, bars and shops in the area.
You can travel at your leisure and complete the tour at your own pace; visit all of the distilleries in one day or leave three for another weekend. The choice is yours and each distillery has incomparable attributes to offer. Check them out in detail by clicking through the slideshow.
