Denver Restaurant Week: 7 Picks With Great Drinks, February 23-March 8

The end of February brings more than just warmer weather. Denver Restaurant Week is coming! What Visit Denver began nine years ago as a way to boost visits to downtown now includes a variety of eateries throughout the city. In fact, Denver currently ranks as having the number two restaurant week in the country, behind New York City. The popularity of this event has expanded every year — kind of like our waistlines — and now actually takes place over two weeks, February 23–March 8.

Participating restaurants feature a special multi-course, prix fixe menu for $52.80 per couple (or $26.40 per person) — a hat tip to Denver’s elevation, of course, 5,280 feet above sea level. For those who enjoy an adult beverage with their meal, several places include a glass of wine, cocktail or beer with dinner.  With over 300 restaurants to choose from, deciding where to go isn’t easy, but we’ve found seven great spots with booze-enhanced offerings. Make sure to snag reservations soon, they’re going fast.

White Chocolate Grill: Get a bottle of Alamos Malbec or Bogle Chardonnay for $20 with your meal (8421 Park Meadows Center Dr., Lonetree; 303-799-4841).

Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery: A 10-ounce beer is served with each course; ask your server for suggested beer pairings (1001 16th St.; 303-534-7616).

Skybox Rooftop Restaurant: On the 14th floor of the Hotel VQ, receive a complimentary glass of house wine per guest (1975 Mile High Stadium Cir.; 303-433-8331).

Ace Eat Serve: With your meal you can choose from a complimentary Ace Ale, house wine or Mission Orange cocktail, made with Ace orange soda, Ginza no suzume shochu and Angostura bitters (501 East 17th Ave.; 303-800-7705).

Southern Hospitality Restaurant & Bar: At Denver’s newest BBQ, receive your choice of cocktail with your meal  (1433 17th St.; 303-298-5398).

The Celtic Tavern: The fourth course is listed as two pints of Guinness. Liquid dessert? Yes, please (1801 Blake St.: 303-308-1795).

Hacienda Colorado Restaurants: All four locations are offering a choice of margarita, sangria or wine with each meal (Denver, Englewood, Lakewood and Westminster).

Euclid Hall: Share a special bomber-sized beer or choose any one of the number of draft brews at the popular craft beer bar (1317 14th St; 303-595-4255).
