Beers Made By Walking
In Oregon there’s an unmistakable kinship of beer and hiking, and Beers Made By Walking celebrates this marriage. The hikes are a part of the educational program organized by the Oregon Natural Desert Association. Hikers will learn about the natural history of the area alongside a brewer and following the hike, the group makes beer. The fourth and most anticipated step is drinking beer. On May 20, you can hike with the brewer of Crux along the Whychus Creek. Sign up for the May 22 hike with Deschutes Brewery and you’ll hike Scout Camp. On June 9, hike with Worthy Brewing Company in the Badlands. Hikes are free.
