Percy Street BBQ Named America's No. 1 Craft Can Beer Bar

CraftCans.com has been promoting canned craft beer for some time now, before the current craze really began to take off. Why look for craft brew in a can? Freshness, environmental friendliness, ease of shipping and ease of use are some of the reasons, and we are big fans.

We’re also big fans of Percy Street BBQ, where manager Aric Ferrell has been curating a huge list of metal-wrapped beers since the Cook + Solo South Street spot opened. We’re thrilled to see them top CraftCans.com’s list of the 15 best in the entire United States. Citing the ever-growing selection (currently over 100) and Erin O’Shea’s killer barbecue (especially those flavor and grease bomb turkey tails), our hometown fave was named number one.

Philly is well represented on the list, as befits our beer-happy city, with Jason Evanchik’s no-frills Midtown Village Bar ringing in at number 10 and Kensington’s Memphis Taproom holdng down the 15th spot.
