American Craft Beer Week, May 14-20

May 14–20 is American Craft Beer Week, a nationwide happening organized by the Brewers Association. There are several special events being held across the city to toast and celebrate independent U.S. brewers. Check out the list below, and let us know of any others in the comments. Here’s to great craft beer!

Declaration of Beer Independence
5 PM, Monday, May 14
Green Dragon, Rogue Hall, and Rogue Ales Pearl District will be toasting to all of the small and independent  craft breweries in the United States and readying everyone for a week dedicated to American craft beer.

Deschutes/Hair of the Dog Beer Dinner
6:30–9:30 PM, Monday, May 14
Wildwood Restaurant is hosting the first of two beer dinners featuring Deschutes and Hair of the Dog. Tickets are $85

Collage Bottle Release
11 AM–10 PM, Tuesday, May 15
Deschutes Portland will be officially releasing the special collaboration between Deschutes and Hair of the Dog. There is a three bottle limit per person and there will be a specialty food menu to pair with the brew.

Tiki Tuesday
Tuesday, May 15
Wear your tiki shirt at Green Dragon or Rogue Hall and receive a special gift. Green Dragon will be offering Buckman Botanical Brewery Tours all week long as well.

Oregon Brew Crew Nano Release
5 PM, Wednesday, May 16
The Oregon Brew Crew’s limited nano will be on tap starting at 5 PM at Green Dragon.

Rogue Distillery/Bathroom Tours
11 AM, Thursday, May 17
Rogue continues its odd tradition of bathroom tours to celebrate American Craft Beer Week.

Pig Roast on the Patio
5 PM, Saturday, May 19
Green Dragon will be house roasting a pig on their outdoor charcoal oven and serving it all evening along with a bunch of great American craft drafts.
