Spring Luau Party at RA Sushi, March 22

We recently featured the Pineapple Express at RA Sushi as our Drink of the Week, but it turns out the tropical fun doesn’t end with that tasty sip. In honor of spring break (and those of us who won’t be traveling somewhere warm to celebrate it), the Harbor East sushi stop is throwing a Spring Luau Party on Thursday, March 22.

From 8 PM–close, the islands will be brought to you, with a beach-themed decor and tiki-style eats and drinks on special. Cocktails that will join the aforementioned Pineapple Express include Baby Umami Punch (Southern Comfort, sake and fruit juices) and the Bikini Martini (Blue Curacao, Kai Young Coconut Shochu, vanilla vodka, pineapple juice and lemon-lime soda), all available for $8 each.

Even if you’re inclined to watch your figure as you think about baring your body as warm weather encroaches, don’t miss the munchies that will go along, like the tropical roll maki with cucumber, mango and avocado topped with spinach tempura ($8), or lightly fried pineapple cheese wontons ($7). Caribbean? Who needs it.
